Civic 4D, Civic Type R, Civic e:HEV, ZR-V e:HEV, CR-V e:HEV and CR-V e:PHEV built between 1 August 2021 and 1 August 2024. Repair: replace the internal spring and add grease, or the whole gearbox on the Type R or if there is wear. Safety Gate recorded reactions in 14 countries (including France, Portugal and Greece); Spain is not on the list.^[1][2][3][4]

Honda CR-V V

Electric power steering gear reducer: grease loss (Honda code 6JP)

CR-V e:HEV and e:PHEV built between 2023 and 2024 (and other Honda models such as the Civic and ZR-V): the gear reducer preload spring is replaced with an improved part and grease is added. The European alert classes it as serious because of the risk of injury.^[4][5]

Campaign 6LB: lithium-ion battery negative terminal

Honda Civics built between 1 June 2022 and 31 January 2023: 643 vehicles worldwide according to car-recalls.eu. Replacement of the battery or module with a modified part. Safety Gate recorded reactions in Denmark, Finland, France, Croatia, Poland, Sweden and Slovakia; Spain is not on the list.^[4][6][7][8]

Inoperative speed limit warning (Honda code 6VL)

CR-V (series RS6 and RS8) built between April and November 2023, together with the ZR-V and Civic: the multifunction camera unit software is updated so that the ISA warns of speeding after the adaptive cruise control is cancelled.^[4]

Unfused battery cable (Honda code 6FA)

CR-V (type RW) built between 1/5/2018 and 1/7/2022 according to the European alert, notified by Germany and classed as serious; the DVSA and the KBA record apply it to the hybrids. The remedy is to fit a fuse to the battery cable.^[4][9][10]

Wide-angle front camera that may not start up properly (Jazz and Jazz Crosstar)

Jazz (GR3) and Jazz Crosstar (GR6) built between January 2020 and January 2021 according to the DVSA (15,464 vehicles in the UK), or February 2021 according to the French entry. Remedy: changing the front camera software. car-recalls.eu also lists it as a UK recall from August 2022.^[4][13][14]

Master window switch replacement (Honda code 6WW)

CR-Vs built between 7/11/2001 and 6/10/2006 (77,836 vehicles in the United Kingdom): the switch is replaced with another designed to prevent it from collecting water. The European alert was submitted by Portugal and classifies it as a fire risk.^[4][15]

Honda vehicles manufactured between January 2001 and December 2015, with campaign codes 6CE, 6DE, 6EE, 6XH and 6ZT; the alert cites the CR-V among the models without specifying which codes apply to it. It may not affect every car from that period.^[17]

Defective airbag inflators (August 2019 alert)

Alert notified by Portugal that cites the FR-V (2004-2009) among around ten Honda models: the inflators may have excessive internal pressure on deployment. The notice does not state which code corresponds to the FR-V or whether it affects the driver or passenger.^[18]

Insight built between 2000 and 2014 according to the DVSA (and from 2001 to 2015 according to the August 2019 European alert recorded by car-recalls.eu), without distinguishing generation; the passenger airbag may not deploy correctly and the inflator is replaced.^[4][19]
