Affiliate links
The "Buy part" buttons lead to Autodoc and are affiliate links: if you buy, MotorFiable may receive a commission. You pay no more for it and it does not change what we publish.

What an affiliate link is
It is a link to a shop that carries an identifier so the shop knows you came from MotorFiable. If you buy during that visit, the shop pays us a small commission on the sale. The price is the same as if you went straight to the shop.
Which shops and services we work with
Right now, only Autodoc, an online spare-parts shop. If we add others, they will appear on this page.
Where you will see them
In the "Parts needed" section of each fault, next to the part or kit that, according to the sources, fixes the problem. The button looks like this:
Timing kit
Example of the button, without a link.
- The link opens a search on Autodoc for the part name, not a specific product. Check compatibility against your registration number or VIN before ordering.
- It opens in a new tab, so you do not lose the fault page.
What does not change
- The price. You pay the same as if you went to the shop yourself.
- The content. Which faults we publish, how we rate them and which part we point to depend on the sources, not on the commission. No shop pays to appear or chooses what we recommend.
- Your privacy. We do not share your data with the shop. When you click the link, the shop and its affiliate network may use their own cookies to attribute the purchase. More in the cookie policy.
How we flag them
- Next to the buy buttons there is always a note saying they are affiliate links.
- Screen readers announce each button as an "affiliate link" to Autodoc.
- The links carry the
rel="sponsored"attribute, which tells search engines they are commercial links. - This is how we identify commercial communications, as required by Article 20 of the LSSI-CE (Spanish e-commerce law).
