Tyres, wheels and wheel bolts

Fast or uneven tyre wear almost always has a cause: misaligned geometry, worn suspension or a design that punishes one axle. There are also campaigns for wheel bolts that were tightened badly or wheels with manufacturing defects.

What to do

Check the pressure with the tyres cold once a month and look at the wear on the inner and outer edges. If a tyre wears more on one side, get an alignment. After changing wheels, tighten the bolts to the correct torque and check them again after a few kilometres.
