Sunroof and panoramic roof

Sunroofs and panoramic roofs add a large pane of glass, guides, motors and drains. The typical faults are creaking, jamming, water leaks through blocked drains and, on some models, campaigns over badly bonded glass panels.

What to do

Clean the roof guides and drains once a year. If water comes in at the sides of the roof or through the pillars, it is almost always a blocked drain. For any campaign involving the roof glass, go as soon as possible: the panel could come away.
